On February 15, 2011 at 11:03pm Travis Levi Taylor of Terlton, OK threatened to violently take my life. I set up this blog on February 22, 2011 so that I could have a place to just get my point-of-view out there. I find it difficult sometimes to talk about the things that have happened in person and posting my thoughts and feelings helps me feel less like a victim and more like an advocate.

Pleads 'Not Guilty,' Waives Speedy Trial
What does this mean? I feel like I need a lawyer to just explain to me what is going on.
"Basically, if you know you are going to prison for the next 20+ years you might as well enjoy some more freedom first. If you are incarcerated for the trial you may want to delay in order to build a defense, and any time you serve prior to your conviction is usually taken off of the total time anyway, so it is worth a shot."
